Yun

Yun is a wandering ronin looking to become the strongest swordsman alive by defeating stronger foes. Her purpose stems from the aftermath of a battle where she suffered humiliating defeat; after which she swore to herself that she would never be defeated again.

She wields the Lightning’s Edge, a katana given to her by the Thunder Demon (Raijink) as well as his thunder powers in exchange for being the demon’s vessel. She fights like every battle is the last one she will fight, often times prioritizing raw power over form.

She has a full back tattoo representing the thunder demon’s powers as well as giving it entry to the physical realm if needed.

Fast and ruthless, she only thinks about defeating her stronger opponents to gain mastery of her blade and soul. Yun cannot handle being framed as weak and powerless, so she shows no mercy and prefers being feared than being loved. She sees kindness as a sign of weakness.

But after killing Fara, she starts doubting her own path, questioning if there is an end to this endless quest of power and if it’s even worth it.

I want Yun to reflect on her flawed principles and find strength in others rather than killing for the sole purpose of getting stronger. She needs to make peace with her own self and accept her flaws.
